Creation of Summertime

by Bridget   Mar 18, 2005

The sweet, soft grass of summer surrounds you
The breeze, whispering sweet nothings in your ear
As you stretch in the field, the sun arrives, stretching above the harmonious horizon
Your body relaxes as you soak in the good, warm rays of golden sunshine
Once you awake the sun is gone, but you soon find companionship in the moon
Like you, the moon is surrounded by the sparkling star dust
The stardust absorbs your tears and sends your wishes, hopes, dreams
On their way to the One who can grant them, cherish them, for all eternity
You pray that these days last forever,
The warmth, the relaxation, the melody of summertime

For this is life, this is where it all is found, and all is created.
