What do i do
shes already taken
but i cant help this feeling
i know I'm not mistaken

i guess i will wait
i hope not to long
but she does seem happy
but maybe I'm wrong

look at her there
so precious and sweet
from the top of her head
down to the tips of her feet

but theres nothing i can do
and nothing i can say
i just pray to god
that i didn't feel this way

cuz i know that i cant have her
cuz she belongs to another
and it just makes me want to come home every day
crying to my mother

hopefully i will not have to wait much longer
i don't know if i can
but i know that if she would open her eyes
she would see that i am a better man
