Your Path

by Fierce   Mar 21, 2005

You started out oh so pure
Our happiness was for you to cure
You listened to our silly fights
Sorted them out till all was right
You talked to us and made us welcome
You even accepted us and helped ‘them’
Then all of a sudden popularity hit you
All you world was so new
You left us outside alone
No one to care for us or call our own
You took their advice and ruined you life
And there you were, in such strife
No one to talk to you, you felt so alone
All cause you took their advice
For goodness sake, you could have stayed nice
Now you're all alone with one on the way
Wanting to take your life, all alone just like a stray
I took you hand and guided your heart
You stood aback and decided to take part
You rose above and started a fresh
Forgetting your past and all that mess
This was your life and your time to shine
She arrived and was so beautifully fine
You took her in your arms
And knew you had made the right choice
To go ahead and leave no regrets
She smiled and your world started over again
This time your path was made for you to reign
