We weren't supposed to get together
and i kinda knew it wouldn't last
but that doesn't make it better
when i look into the past

the day that we first met
in that darkened music filled room
the way we kissed each other
in the darkness and the gloom

and when we were lay-ed on your bed
laughing all night long
you softly stroked and kissed my head
where has all that gone

and when we went to the movies
and couldn't concentrate on the film
i couldn't look at the screen
because my eyes were only on you

why did you have to string me along
if you knew it was going to end
and why when we first broke up
did you take me back again

you said that u really liked me
and it was only because of your friends
than why if you were that bothered
did you get a new girlfriend
