Time for God

This life is not as it should be
we shouldn't always be crying,should we?

no ones at peace,were always at war
and no ones ever satisfied,we always want more

theres never time for God,we always leave him behind
but don't you feel bad he always has us in mind

our lord still loves us no matter what we do
yet hes the first person we blame when we start to feel blue

it can be so easy to accept him,talk to him and pray
but instead of his easy path,wee go our own way

and when we fall down,he lifts us back on our feet
he payed the price for our sins which is a price we cant beat

we try to follow his word,try to do whats right
but were overcome by sin so easily that we don't even put up a fight
