Redemption

by Wulfpak77   Mar 22, 2005

Lost unto a land of shame;
Unto which only I am to blame;
Battling back through all the s***;
Hoping the pieces shall reacquire their fit;

Hope is fleeting though at this time;
When anger has been so thoroughly primed;
Could all the years together be lost?
Shall this be the final cost?

Deeds undone never a chance;
Heartache surrounding this horrible dance;
Why is the question they do say;
Answers unheard of in a land so gray;

Can not stop, will not yield;
I all care about is how they feel;
Mistakes made can not be undone;
But I shall face the cost, I shall not run;

A burden I carry this I hold true;
Of the lives I have ruined so thoroughly through;
Of friendships I lost without a thought;
Of relationships I gambled with that could not be bought;

In the end there is only one thing;
The glory of which we all should sing;
They meant more then I could ever dream;
Losing them now brings blood curdling screams;

Forgiveness is not what I ask;
For that shall be too great of a task;
But sacrifices must be made;
As I lay down my life at the tip of their blade;
