The truth of light

by Dead As Yesterday   Mar 23, 2005

Sometimes I just don’t know what’s going on
The reoccurring dreams are so dark they come on so strong
I see you there right in front of me holding out my destiny
A flower playing in you’re hands asking me to understand
It just blooms and bleeds my name every night it’s the same

In the truth of light I realize all my fears and see all the lies
The day is slow till I see you there all my hopes and all I care
Something deep inside of me is it madness or insanity
Then your gone I’m alone no beach to walk nowhere to roam

Sundown holds no place for me inside myself its misery
Lonely hours till its time to dream the place where you are mine
Twilight is what holds the key knowing you’ll be there with me
Its just a dream but that’s ok it’ll tide me over another day
