A Girl

I’m going to say it
Instead hiding it
I found a girl
A girl that I love
This is new to me

Only took us a day
To say we love each other
She told me first
I was shocked
Yet I told her I loved her too

Second day we met
Couldn’t keep our hands off other
I thought I couldn’t do that
But I was the one who started it
I surprised myself even more

I don’t know what this is
We haven’t had heartfelt conversations
Just being polite until
One of us takes the other
Is it just attraction or love?

I don’t care. I haven’t felt like this before
I never wanted someone more than once
I never wanted them again and again
I never wanted to hold someone just to feel their warmth
But now I do

I’m going to say it
