Hell Hole

by Just Sierra   Mar 24, 2005

I try to open my eyes
But darkness is all I see
There are chains around my bloody wrists
Chains all over me
I try to yank them off their hinges
But they only tighten more
Until I just can’t move myself
The pain I can’t ignore
All around me are screams
Of people lost in this hellish land
I try to reach out to them
But I can barely move my hand
Along with the screams of dying men
I hear the crack of a whip
Slicing men, women, children apart
I can almost feel the skin rip
Blood trickles down my face
Like the mourning tear of a widow
Swallowed completely into myself
Lost in my own shadow
My eyes are finally open
Free to look around, adjust
There has to be a way out of here
Someone I can trust
There’s a little boy in the corner
Crying out his eyes
But if I try to talk to him
Will I find truth, or just lies?
Slowly his head turns toward me
Darkness halloing his head
His pale face, dark tortured eyes find me
His bloody lips parted, then he said:
“I’d like to welcome you to my home
The home of no return
For in those chains forever you’ll stay
In this hell you’ll burn.”

-Wrote this right now, at the school!! he he...I'm clever.-
