Death of a friend

by Evie   Mar 25, 2005

The death of a friend,
a very depressing sad time.
To make you come back,
I’d give even my last dime.

You lie to me,
And told me you wouldn’t die.
I am lost with out you.
You were my life guide.

Now I walk alone,
sad, and depressed.
I will tell you now,
I am not obsessed.

I tried to help,
But you wouldn’t reply.
I never gave up,
even as the time went by.

I hate you, and will never forgive you,
for not letting me help.
I, as a friend,
knew how you felt.

How do I get away from you,
when you are already far away?
I wish I could get away from this,
even if I had to walk a day.

This is my good bye,
to you and to my soul.
I wait for me in heaven,
I will go soon to help play the roll.
