Best Friends Forever
Now we're best friends never
You promised we'd be friend through think and thin
You promised wed know each other like we were in the other's skin
It was always me and you
We were inseparable
But I don’t know. One day
I guess somebody stood in the way
You went your way
I went mine
Why did we have to say goodbye?
I miss you
Do you miss me too?
We were always the best friends
Then look what happened
Why'd it end?
We did everything together
From second grade when we shopped for toys
To not long ago when we looked at boys
We left each other
Betrayed one another
Now nothing will be the same
Why did we pretend like friendship was a game?
Never again will we be close
We lost it like those
Who don’t care?
