Cookie Cutter

by Carlee Ann   Mar 26, 2005

Today you look around and see
The figures of society
Beautiful, thin, and tall
The perfect girl that has it all

They all say you have to be a size one
You have to drink to have any fun
Flawless skin, straight teeth
No one cares about what's underneath

Hope you have a big enough chest
And your style better be the best
Hope you fit the status of the perfect girl
Or else you won't be accepted in this world

Who cares if you are a C or double A?
I'm not an item on display
What ever happened to originality?
What ever happened to me just being... me?

Not everyone fits the cookie cutter
Some do math, some may stutter
Some may be smart, some may be short
But that doesn't mean they should not have society's support

Maybe I'm not completely tan
But I can't deny just who I am
We all are beautiful, we all are unique
So if it's the perfect image that you seek

Look around, at every woman, every one
And I think the message will come
We all are perfect in our own way
And individuality is here to stay

So if you are looking for a size zero
A perfect skinned fashion hero
Good luck to you, my friend
Because the cookie cutter image has come to an end!

** To all you girls out there... Every single one of you is beautiful. Never forget that... you are perfect just being YOU.**

Love, ME! ;)
