The only person worth crying over
Will never make you cry.
I know this is true
Because of this guy.

He came into my life
During my worst time.
He was always there for me
And told me everything would be fine.

He listened to my problems
And helped me to overcome.
He could see the person that I was
And who I could become.

He could look at me
And be able to see.
The person that I really was
Not the one I pretend to be.

One day something happened
Something I cannot explain.
The happiness I once felt was gone
And in it’s place stood pain.

The pain of having to deal with
All the lies and half-truths.
The thing I thought would never happen
Was actually coming true.

Because of you
I want to cry.
But because of you
Not one tear has left my eye.

All the emotions I have felt
All the pain I have endured.
Nothing can help me now
A broken heart can’t be cured.
