Don't Leave

by Emma Carnage   Mar 26, 2005

I look in the mirror
And I see you
Standing next to me
Your arms
Around my waist
Just like before
Like it used to be

I look up to your eyes
I can see the love
Can you see
Everything I feel?
Look down to my soul
Sense how I feel
And tell me
You feel the same

I’ve fallen again
This time though
It’s so much more
I love you
I know it’s true
Do you love me?
Please tell me you do

You say you love me
But now
You’re walking
Arms slipping away
I try to hold on
The harder I try
The faster you leave

Now I’m falling
Starting the habit again
Can’t handle this
Too much pain
I had you once
But I made a mistake
I let you go
And now that I want it again
You’ve realized
You never wanted me
In the first place

*I wrote this awhile ago but forgot about it. I don't really feel this way anymore about him. Take a wild guess who it's about*
