Love Never Forgotten

As I lie down for the night,
These emotions run so deep,
I think of all we use to share,
And I can not sleep.

I gave you all the love that was in my heart,
And you promised me so many things,
I gave you all my trust,
And now all I can do is dream.

We shared all those precious moments,
That no one will ever be able to match,
We shared a remarkable Love,
One that I thought would truly last.

My heart will always be scared,
Because of my love for you,
But just maybe yours is scared a little,
If your love for me was true.

You will always hold a portion of my heart,
Because what we had I treasured,
You were my heart and soul,
And It was always my pleasure.
