Story Of A Girl

by Megan Raye   Mar 27, 2005

This is a story of a girl,
Who shed crystal blue tears.
Shes screaming for help,
But nobody hears.
She feels lost and broken,
And nobody knows.
She has a beautiful smile,
But for some reason it never shows.
The razor blade helped to ease her pain,
But theres only so much she can do.
She had so much hurt inside,
And nobody knew.
Her mom doesn't notice,
She doesn't see the pain in her eyes.
Her dad was never there,
To hold his daughter when she cries.
Her friends try to help,
But they don't really understand.
They never really saw,
All the pain this poor girl had.
She cries alone at night,
wishing everyone could see.
Thinking to herself,
"What ever happened to me?"
She wants to be gone,
Just like forever lost.
She'd leave this town,
At any cost.
She hides her tears,
With both hands covering her face.
Because everybody already,
Thinks shes such a disgrace.
Shes going through the same stuff,
everyday.
She asks herself,
"Why does my life have to be this way?"
Her suicide poems came from
Her black broken heart.
Without all the love she needs,
Her world falls apart.
Something inside,
Tells her to keep going on.
But she thinks it'd be better for everyone,
If she was gone.
Shes looking for someone,
Who knows what shes going through.
She wants someone,
That feels the same way too.
People think they're better then her,
All they do is push her around.
They treat her like nothing.
Like a piece of dirt on the ground.
She came home from school,
With more tears running down her face.
Just another small cut,
Wasn't the case.
This time she over did it,
She thinks she gonna die.
She grabbed a washcloth put it over her wrist,
As she sat there and cried.
Her mom heard her crying,
And wondered what was going on.
She walked into the room,
And saw what went wrong.
Next thing the girl knew,
Was she woke up in a bed.
She saw her mom sleeping in a chair,
With a hand holding up her head.
Her mom said,
"Why didn't you tell me about all this pain going on?"
All the girl could say was,
"You wouldn't understand mom."
She breaks down when she has to,
She also does when she don't.
She knows she should be strong,
But she also knows she wont.
