Sad eyes

I look in the mirror wonder what I'll see, sad blue eyes staring back at me.

I take out all my makeup to cover up the tears, I think of other things to fight away my fears.

A look in my eyes only I will see, I know that I'm not perfect but the best that I can be.

Tears come at night when I want no one to know, I continue to smile so that it doesn't show.

I think about the past and what happened is so wrong, no matter how tomorrow is I've got to stay strong.

Everyday I push away my thoughts and how I feel, people say I look happy and I wish that it was real.

I go on and stay strong even as I cry, But to the world I moved on and my eyes are very dry.
