Unchained

by Sinister Soire   Mar 28, 2005

Mind unchained
Body contained
I walk this world a hollow shell
And look out on a burning hell

Hopes unhinged
Lives infringed
I find myself lost in here
And living in a state of fear

Love devoted
Heart demoted
I’m lost without guidance
And life has lost all substance

Fear consuming
Doom looming
I wander looking for a way
And I dream of how to live each day

Mind unchained
Body contained
They cannot hold me here for long
For soon enough I will be strong
