God took you away
you were only 22.
I think to myself
why'd you drink all that brew

God took you away
it doesn't seem fair.
You had so much to give
so much left to share.

God took you away
from those who loved you.
Some of them wish
they could have went too.

God took you away
you touched so many alive.
You left us so fast
we cant help but wonder why.
