How could you just walk away (NAR)

by sinister   Mar 29, 2005

You once said that if the situation was reversed
If the shoe was on the other foot
You would have forgiven and we would have moved on
Well I listened to you and I forgave and we moved on

So when I came time for you to hold true to your word why did you not
We fought and hurtful thing were said as often the case with fights
But you got a chance to prove you were not just talk
You got a chance to forgive and move on but you chose not too

How could you convict our relationship over what seem to be so petty in comparison to what you did
And the statement you made about how you could have just left me there wondering where we stool, without giving me an answer
That was vile and demonic thinking, something I would not have expected from you.

But alas I thank you for eventually giving me an answer
However, your answer has lead me to more questions and I can not help but wonder
Did you really love, I mean you said you did but your actions are to the contrary
How could you simply abandon someone you claim you would give your life for and someone who you said you could not get of your mind

How could you just walk away
Everyone knows anything worthwhile does not come easy
And for me this was worthwhile and I was willing to fight.
I am left with so many unanswered questions
Some of the biggest being,
Did you really love and if so how could you have just walked away.
