Heaven

Heaven is wonderful
Although many have not seen it
Most picture it beautiful
And some still wonder about it

Riding on a boat fit for one
Covered with pure gold pictures
You feel you're being watched yet you are alone
You run your hand along the edge to feel the boats textures

You are shot through a tunnel
Also covered with pure gold pictures
You look around wondering
where the heck are you

Suddenly your boat slows
You reached the end
What your eyes sees
Is unbelievable

Reaching high into the sky
Looking as though it never ends
A large golden gate lie
A magnificent light it sends

You are speechless as you stop
Amazed as you get out
Looking up to see the top
Then smiling, having the urge to shout

The gate was a wondrous sight
Pure gold with angles everywhere
Shining its beauty with all it's might
You place a hand on it with out a care

That is when His voice was heard
High and strong when he said,
"Come now, why are you here?
Go home, your time has not yet come."

You are shot back the way you came
Into the depths of darkness
Then wake to find everything the same
And from then on you are filled with happiness

I loved your poem, and especially the part, where you said, "your not supposed to b here yet", because I immediately thought- at least he knew your name, it scares me at how many people do not know about heaven, or Jesus..........thank you for giving me renewd faith, I guess it was one of those times, I just needed to feel good, and your poem did just that. If you have a minute please read mine. vote, and comment I would appreciate it. Thanks Becky
