Truth

The world surrounds me,
Sometimes comforting,
Others critisizing.
But still,
Not matter how badly you wish it away,
It never goes.
It's reality, it's truth.
Unlike people, it is always honest.
Sadly, everyone learns this the hard way.
Some quicer than others,
But in the end,
The message is the same.
You can't always trust one another.
But take a chance while you're still alive,
For you only live once,
So make the best of what you have,
And call it good enough.
