Imaginary Friends

Seeing you standing there
I could leave town
And you'd still be there
You used to say what i wanted
Do what i wanted
You saved me from my broken world
I owned you
I created you
You are my creation
Like a mother's newborn child
You became whatever i wanted you to be
I could change you
Mold you, sculpt you
Make you do all those horrible things I
can't or won't
I thought I could destroy you
Make you leave me alone
But i can't, I've lost control
You're inside me now, Apart of me
You make sure I can't escape
Now the only thing I know is real
Is the blood, running down my arms
Draining from my vains
And the night closes in on me as i smile
I've outsmarted you still
