Sometimes i wish
I knew what lay ahead
So the pain I'd witness
Wouldn't have to begin
The words "I love you"
Wouldn't have been said
And words that were mistaken
Couldn't be misread
But then there are times
When all I can do
Is think about the time we spend together
And really mean it
When I say "I love you"
Time goes by
Day after day
And I wish I could take back
The mean things I say
You know I'd never
Want to harm you

I hurt more than you
