Darkness Alone

In the darkness in the hallway,
The dying of the grass,
The leaving of a loved one,
Who's life had flashed so fast.

The darkness in the doorway,
The dying of a rose,
The breaking of a heart,
In which blackness now flows.

You cant really show it,
You cant get it re-sewn,
You just have to live on,
Feeling forever alone.
