The Malice of Scent

by Ian Robert   Mar 30, 2005

Walk over the faces of lost angels,
I’ve see the future only to find myself mangled,
All of my endings are waiting to begin,
Another way that I fought her,
I won’t stand to be afraid anymore.

My existence is rapidly fading,
All that I wanted was someone I could know,
Every emotion that was let go,
This is completely wrong.

I’ve found my throne and it’s frozen with mace,
Its been disgraced like I’m about to slash your face,
So its begun and I’m going to take my place.

It’s wrong to deny you of my pride,
So take what you need and leave me to die.

It’s her fragrance,
She is everything and more,
When I see her its worse,
I’ll fight until I fall off my horse,
Unlike emotion, Its me who will not feel.

Alone; it’s the way I knew I’d always be.
