I’ll wait

by Dead As Yesterday   Mar 30, 2005

I’m never really satisfied something’s missing deep inside
I see you there in front of me draped in all your mystery
A glow of green burns in your eyes like a star in the skies
Creamy skin under ruby lips my heart flutters, often skips

I need to tell you how I feel so my soul can start to heal
All my hopes and all my dreams are of you so it seems
When you smile it reaches me spelling out my destiny
All the stars that fill the sky twinkle down on you and I

I have time and so I’ll wait for time to deal its crewel fate
Your beauty grows with every day melting me every way
In my mind it’s me and you doing things that lover’s do
Roses weep and petals fall because I’m alone after all

I really like this piece, but these lines really stand out:

"When you smile it reaches me spelling out my destiny
All the stars that fill the sky twinkle down on you and I"

"Roses weep and petals fall because I’m alone after all"

    Great job...keep it up~Holly
