When The Wolf Howls

by paulina.♥   Mar 30, 2005

The young she-wolf stared at the moon;
She opened her mouth and out came a lonesome tune.
The female slowly cries.
She remembered her father who told her nothing but lies.
Her heart was now ice cold.
Her life was a twisted mystery no one could unfold.
Ice was all that young Sasha ever saw.
Her paws, now cold as ice, would never thaw.
She stared into the moonlight,
The she-wolf remembered one, last fight.
Her father had had enough of her.
Sasha looked and him at whimpered, “I’m sorry, sir.”
Her father, Veto, wanted her to die.
He was waiting for the one day that she would break down and cry.
She would beg for his forgiveness.
Surely he would understand…
Her father was a strict wolf, one that wouldn’t forgive his own kin.
He finally jumped up, and made his fangs puncture his daughter’s skin.
He let go out laughed at Sasha’s panicking.
Humans suddenly came, their flashlights flickering.
They took her dad away, and left her there to die.
Poor little Sasha could do nothing but cry.
Weeks passed and her scar started to heal.
The scar would always be there, though, and the pain, she could still feel.
She heard a movement in the bushes.
But the wolf didn’t care.
She felt breath on her shoulder and what she saw gave her a scare.
It was Veto, the wolf she had always hated.
He came back to put one more fang into Sasha’s skin?
This time it wasn’t her paw.
It something that hurt a lot more.
It was her heart, you see, she saw Hell’s door.
Sasha wasn’t a good wolf.
We won’t pretend that she is.
She killed many animals.
Not just for food.
She did it for amusement.
Her own sick jokes.
She wanted the other animals to feel what she felt for so long.
She looked up at her father.
How weak she now felt.
It wasn’t easy to stand up, when her blood drained out of her heart.
”I’m sorry, father.” she said?
”I never wanted to make you angry.”
”I never wanted you to feel my pain.”
Sasha fell to the floor.
Her blood made the ice melt…
She was lying down in a crimson puddle.
Her once beautiful pelt was now red as well.
”You made my life a living Hell, Sasha.” He said out of nowhere.
”The pain I lived through was to make you happy.”
”Look at you!” he said, “You’re lucky! You’re dying!”
Sasha looked at her father.
She didn’t hate him,
She loved him.
Sasha remember the old days…
When Veto used to be her guardian angel, her savior.
Now he was the devil, what she was afraid of most.
But even though he caused her so much pain, she loved him.
Sasha’s ice-blue eyes looked at her father.
”I’m dying, Daddy?” she asked.
Sasha once again started to cry.
”Yes, Sasha. And you are leaving me here to die.”
Sasha knew that Veto wasn’t lying.
The once glamorous she-wolf was now dying?
Her body was dripping with a mixture of sweat and blood.
Young Sasha thought back into the past…
This was the moment she was waiting for…
She really DID want to die.
And now that she thought about it, she did hate her father.
”Sasha, I love you,” he said sadly.
”I wish you didn’t have to die.”
The young she-wolf smiled one last time,
”But it’s your fault, Daddy. You killed me. Your time will come, too…”
”Remember, Daddy, we will meet again in Hell.”
”I’ll get my revenge, Daddy, remember that.”
”Sasha, no! Remember, I love you!” He said trying to stop her from being so deceitful.
”That’s great, Daddy. Now you remember something; I hate you.”
Sasha’s last ounce of blood dripped out of her body.
Hell’s door opened and she was sucked in…
