Alone and Abandoned

by Courtney Zachow   Mar 30, 2005

She told her friend her problems,
About her mom and step dad,
She did not cry,
She managed to hold back,
Not one tear fell from her eye,
She told her friend I’m moving,
With him she looked away,
As soon as I do,
She said in hate,
My mom will feel like I do,
Alone and abandoned,
Unpositioned out of place,
She looked straight into her friends face,
Her friend gave her a hug said it’ll be ok,
Told her she not alone told her she’d never go away.
