It’s time to let go.
It’s time to move on.
Will this feeling go away
now that your gone?

Yes, I love you,
but I can no longer dwell.
I know I hurt you,
so this is my farewell.

These final words
you will see from me,
I’m moving on now,
and I have to let it be.

I hope you know I’m still here
if you need someone to talk to.
If you ever need a friend,
I’ll be here for you.

It’s not easy letting go,
but it’s something I have to do.
This way I’ll move on
to start something new.

Now I say goodbye
to the guy who had me at hello,
but I know this will be painful,
for it is not easy letting go.
