The Abomination

THE ABOMINATION

So many problems
You don’t understand
You barley make an effort
Or lend a helping hand

Yet every day
I have to stand
Your unpleasant presence
Again and again

You just don’t get me
Or know me at all
Pre-occupied in your life
You put up a wall

I know you love me
I just can’t say the same
You ruined my life
It has now become insane

When I was younger
We used to have fun
But now I cringe
For the hatred has begun

You think I’m a little girl
So innocent so sane
A happy young child
Pleasant and tame

Friendly, inviting
Helpful and kind
A dreamer, believer
Content and refined

Your senseless assumptions
On who I am
Are about as far-fetched
As they can

And now as I cry
The usual tears
I remember you
Through all these years

But just thinking about you
Makes my temper rise
My heart beat fast
As my pulse dies

I just despise you so much
Words will never tell
You make each day
Like living in hell
