Billboard beacon

by Künstliche Welten   Apr 3, 2005

Driving down the 401 at half past midnight
The brightest lights come from the brazen neon glare of
The billboards that line the highway
All the way up to the horizon
Further than the eye can see
Each one is a Northern star
Leading me toward BMWs, Canon digital cameras
Levi jeans, Air Canada and Mitsubishis
Lighting my path like persistant fireflies
Showing me exactly which way to go...

And I decide I might as well follow
