Passion's Lullaby

by Rose   Apr 3, 2005

In pure molten perfection,
I find your solemn face,
does fuel my every breath,
and find my hidden grace.

Like raw and open wounds,
though hidden from the light,
love, unseen, still pulsing,
here bleeds with all its might.

The breath that keeps me thriving,
within a vial world,
there branded burning memories,
my life, round your heart curl'd

My dreams are loyal to you,
and your paralyzing touch,
my memories left burning,
as you lost me in your clutch.

My stale eyes but pour,
your blood; o'er solitary nights,
your smile's the only memory,
this lonely heart can fight.

I know again you'll find me,
on hope our hearts are hung,
'till then this never ending lullaby,
to sleepless eyes is sung.
