Hate is love

by No Motiv?   Apr 3, 2005

I believe in hate
A term most confuse
Please let me clarify
So there is no misuse

Hate is a tear,
A broken, naked heart
It is love turned inward
An emotion torn apart

a feeling that can penetrate
the strongest self-esteem
pulling the stitches of sanity
breaking at the seam

hate is when tears spill,
or when angry words are spoken
hate is provoked
when our hearts have been broken

we cannot say we hate
those we do not know
when hurt by those we love
only then does it show

hate is experienced when
pain poisons the soul
when conflict has climaxed
and taken its toll

but soon we find the hate has gone
leaving the mind to clear
we rid ourselves of the suffering
the anger and the fear

words are taken back
and love is restored
apologies are made
for the verbal sword

hugs erase the tension
and grudge is set free
without love's existance
hate would cease to be.

so wonderfully put. How true it is... for we cannot hate a person that we do not care for in any shape or form. We at least have to care about nature = human=enemy before we can truly hate the individual.

    great job
