She Jumped

by Marissa Cabot   Apr 3, 2005

She climbed the buildings' every stair,
Past the topmost floor.
She had no choice but to be there,
she couldn't take it anymore.

She stood there,
letting loose a tear.
Now there was no turning back,
despite her fear.

Her breathing shallow,
her heart thumped.
No time to wallow,
With that... she jumped.
