The Color Black

by Swallowed by Death   Apr 4, 2005

What is the color black?

Black is death on a rainy day,
Shadows moving in every way,
Thunderstorms in the day’s light,
Evil whispers through the night,
Smells of rotting corpses in the hot sun,
Loneliness has surrounded someone.

What is the color black?

Winter’s cold on a bare back,
Mutilated body parts in a sack,
A dark soul, alone in the world,
A scared helpless little girl,
Black roses surround a grave,
Evil and sickness is all craved.

What is the color black?

Black cats represent evil,
A whole world in upheaval,
Sadness and depression tear apart the soul,
Mind full of anger, heart of coal,
Smooth and slick and kind of sneaky,
And definitely wild and freaky.

This is the color black.
