Dreams of home

by skiba   Apr 6, 2005

Silver lines the clouds o the sky
the sun shines throughout the day
I am a prisoner to this land
the rose rots beneath the surface
and the bait lies in wait on the hook
the land pleads indifference

as the night draws near
to overcome my prison cell
the patch of sunlight fades
into the lonely water well

the day is dimming
to the dark black hole
this damned prison cell
holds lifes final role

the light directs
to see the day
to were we see
the right appointed way

the night approaches
as I sleep
compelled my mind
shall it take

i slip into
my model day dream
away from convicting
malice dreams

the river holds the fish
the fish swallows the hook

to this the river which i ride
the entire world by my side

i dream of love
i dream of peace
i dream of home
i dream of the end
