Unforgetable

by Samantha   Apr 7, 2005

In the darkest of nights,
Where life is standing still,
And the end comes near,
I’m wondering into a dark place inside my head,
And waiting for the light to shine bright

I try not to mourn,
But because my blood is thin,
Some things just won’t be forgotten,
For days to come and suns to fall,
The cold wind will blow of the sorrow of my tears

Caught up in the time and lost in the hour,
I need a light, someone to talk to,
Shine down on me, I can’t forget about this life I lead,
I feel insignificant because I’m forgotten,
There’s no time to shed tears

I know these voices will go away,
But I don’t know if things will be ok,
I’m trying to walk away from death,
But it happens so soon,
I want to shake the hand of the beholder,
And thank them for these unforgetable tears
