The Dove

One day i saw a dove in the sky
And i knew not why
For when i saw the word love came into mind
You and I were blind
We both cried
We both lied
And we did not know why

You said the pain was to much to bear
Knowing you wanted me to care
I sat out in the rain
Hoping you see my pain
Knowing one day we both will see the dove
And we will both feel the love
How that sentence sounded so pure
Knowing it should be our cure

But we couldnt see it
And we both took the knife
And we both ended our life
