I am always with you

I know you sit there all alone in that crowded room
I know how you really feel, how desperate you are
The confusion you show on your face is not lost on me
I am there by your side every time, my hand in yours
You do not know this, but there is someone who does see

It wont always be a secret whilst I am here
You wont always suffer in silence because I will be your voice
The hugs you crave but also fear, I will offer to you in kindness
I will let you have the freedom to cry, and will be there to wipe away the tears
Don’t be afraid of your future because I know your dreams are not hopeless

I know I seem far away but I am only another day away
Tomorrow may appear the same but the difference is, I will be nearer
Take the time to remember who you are and who you want to be
Never stop believing that you are special, and never stop hoping
I am just around the next corner, waiting to mend your broken wings and set you free
