She was so young, with many years ahead.
With a promising future, that she would of led.
But that all was taken, in a blink of an eye.
Without giving warning, without time to say goodbye.
Leaving behind broken hearts, and tears flowing like streams.
Ripping lives apart, seam-by-seam.
Filling hearts with fear, of it happening again.
With no way to stop it, no way to put it to an end.
Leaving us scared, leaving us confused.
Leaving us lost, and afraid of what else we could lose.
Making us fear that we won't wake up, to see the next morning's light.
No matter what we do, or how hard we fight.
And making us pray, that our loved ones awake.
And leaving us fearful, of the next life it'll take.
The fear never stops, it has no end.
The fear that appears, after the death of a friend.
A poem dedicated to the wonderful, Megan Nichole Amyx. We love you with all of our hearts and only wish that we could bring you back. We will just pray every day that we don't lose another loved one, and God knows that no one could ever replace you!
