I know I'm not like most girls,
In the ways that I treat you,
But I just get so nervous inside,
If only you really knew.

You may think that I don't care,
But baby believe me I do,
The love I feel for you,
Is very very true.

It hurts me bad inside,
To see you so sad,
But you must believe me,
I'm happy with what we had.

I'd rather your arm around me,
Keeping me safe from harm,
Than kissing you and messing up,
And taking away the charm.

It just scares me to think,
That I might have hurt you,
I'd never do that,
You're not like the other few.

I was so nervous,
You could probably tell,
But I love you so much,
And I know I live within a shell.

I'll be honest and tell the truth,
It's not that I don't love you,
I'm just scared of losing what we have,
And making it all fall through.

The truth is I haven't kissed much,
And I'm afraid you'll judge me,
I know you won't do that,
But it's scary you see.

Just never forget I love you,
With my whole heart,
And the thought of losing you to this,
Tears me completely apart.
