Still Crying *Edited*

Look at me, Steven, look in my eyes,
If only you knew how much I have cried.
I’m the one who left you, but you can’t see,
I gave you up to protect you from me.

The ones who cared, they’re now torn apart,
From all of the ways I corrupted their hearts,
And just as you loved me, they loved me, too,
So I’ve gone away to stop loving you.

But still, I knew it’d happen once more,
After all of the pain I caused galore,
And as much as I care, I’m afraid of what I’ll do,
So I’ll lie again, and deny loving you.

I’m almost proud you don’t understand,
For fear you’d read me on demand, and,
With everything I’ve caused suffering to,
I’d die in a second if only you knew.
