Somewhere between Dream and Reality

by Sabine Taylor   Apr 11, 2005

Somewhere in another country
In another time and era
I walk along a road
With green grass and flowers
With trees on every side
There’s no one around
Only wind blows
And my hair waves

On the horizon
I can see
A great gate so beautiful
With a grand mansion
I step forward
But every step lets me stand
On the point
And the place
At the end of the road
Doesn’t come nearer
It shines so bright
But I can’t leave
The point
The house becomes
Unclear
The horizon smears
And my view
Becomes blurred

When I wake up
This place is far away
But in the next night
I may see it again
So clearly in my mind
That I want to touch it
But I just can stand on the point
Till everything
Becomes unclear

Maybe that’s my Tara
And I will see it again
Maybe somewhere in another country
Maybe in another time and era
Where my hair goes with the wind

    Maybe that’s my Tara

I had a dream similar to this that i told to my friend Lara. I didn't notice the raging wind, but I noticed the high waters that broke on the shore only a safe distance from the feet of a single dark haired girl, her hair blowing in the winds that I didn't notice.
