Perfection Invaded

Sometimes when I look
my world, it seems shaded
like my life is eclipsed
like a work of art faded

its so hard to find joy
when your soul has been jaded
each time that I look
I see sin has pervaded

my heart needs a touch
of His glory cascaded
to restore all the splendor
to a place so degraded
