The Dusk of Virginity

by Eden   Apr 12, 2005

-Be Still-
The maiden's quest for time
The soft and silken lullaby,
Virgin's voice to unused ears
Only nature in its wake.

Overwhelming joyous tune
To heart's melodic beat,
When gray eyes and softened lips
Shine in the full moon's light.

-Tell the story now, My Love,
Of how we came to meet-
The tingling words rang like a bell
To her lover weakened by passion.

A kiss bestowed with loving care
Upon maiden's luscious lips,
Hands on waste and pulled in close
Nothing but love to taste.

"Twas dawning light like angel's wings
When I first saw your face.
The darkened moon became so full
Because of your silver grace.

"All deities sing when you awake
Flowers raise their scents,
I was carried upon the wind
And consumed by the fire of love.

"Only answers quenched my thoughts...
For how was I to have you?
You were the purest rose in the wild,
And I but a lowly man.

"Still your magic eyes found mine
Upon this day's high light,
And now the dusk arrives too soon,
And my heart screams out at time.

"I love you more than life itself
I knew this when our eyes met.
Even heaven's gates bow down
To your pure angelic perfection.

"I hear your virgin-song tonight...
Tonight can I love you well?
No longer can my thoughts sleep
Without you there beside me..."

Kisses light and gently falling,
Lovers cast their worries.
For tonight the virgin's song will end,
And the maiden and man will be one.
