One Word

by Jacquie Stewart   Apr 12, 2005

One word that makes me frown,
One word that makes me cry,
One word that puts me down.
Makes me wanna die.

One word that breaks my heart,
One word that makes me sad.
One word that tears me apart,
One word that drives me mad.

One word that I can't stand,
One word that I can't bear.
One word that I want banned,
One word that isn't fair.

One word said everyday,
Directed straight for me.
One word thats here to stay,
Sends me to my knees.

One word so cruel,
Everyone seems to know.
One word for a fool,
I just can't let this go.

One word that is used,
By everyone I see.
One word that I hate,
Why can't they accept me.

Everyone's always saying,
That I need to ignore them.
But every day's a nightmare,
Only to stop their boredom.

I am the center of all their cruel jokes,
And they don't care at all.
One day they'll be sorry,
One day they will fall.

They don't know how much they're hurting me,
How I'm dying deep inside.
With this one word said so easily,
That makes me wanna hide.

I don't wanna go to school,
I don't wanna get out of bed.
This one cruel word,
Spins around inside my head.

I hate them for doing this to me,
For messing me up this way.
I hate them for not being able to see.
I despise them more each day.
