Another Rainy Day...

Another rainy day, another tear to shed, another lonely hour, with my heart as cold as led.

I close my eyes and cry, the fifth night in a row, I try to smile when your here, but when I'm alone the hurt shows.

You have no idea, you treat me like a friend, but the more you scare my heart, the less it wants to mend.

Can't live without you here, can't stand the pain I'm in, wishing I could tell you, knowing I'll never win.

You think its just a game, a silly little crush, but the rules remain the same, this pain I feel is love.

I cry myself to sleep at night, wishing you were here, your oblivious to my feelings, you shouldn't have to care.

But I know you never cry for me, or hold your pillow tight, wishing it was me, and keep wishing throughout the night.

We're under this same sky, we gaze at the same stars, the same air fills our lungs, and yet we're so far apart.

When you look up at night, please wish upon a star, that when I look up too, your wish will heal my broken heart.
