This girl

by Lori Groth   Apr 13, 2005

You know this girl
You know her well
She has lots of friends
Its easy to tell

You may think this girl is weird
Or you may think she’s cool
But I’ll tell you now
This girl aint no fool

This girl has been through child neglect
And all the crap that comes with it
But now this girl lives a normal life
And she never pity’s herself one bit

She’s got golden blonde hair
And two-toned blue eyes
And in the dark of the night
It’s out of them that she cries

She loves to dance
In the fresh fallen snow
And where no one knows about
Is where one day she wants to go

Something she really needs
Has been torn apart
This thing just happens to be
This girl’s heart

You can look at her if you please
If you want you can even stare
But no matter what you do
She won’t even care

When it storms
She’ll stand out in the pouring rain
Cuz it’s the only thing that will free her from her pain

So what if she talks a lot
So what if she’s loud
The only thing that matters
Is that to be herself, she’s proud

So if this girl came up
And talked to you today
Would you know who she was
Or would you turn away?

Now you’re probably wondering
Who is this girl? Who could she be?
Well this girl just happens to be
The one and only…..ME!
