Confession

by RB   Apr 13, 2005

Can't be who she is,
Gotta keep it all inside,
She's happy when she's out,
But alone she sits and cries.
She smiles to keep you happy,
She smiled when you're around,
But all the time she knows,
Her life's come crashing down.
You've never looked into her head,
ad wondered if she cries,
I bet you think she's happy,
But she only wants to die.
It's because of the way she looks,
that mostly girls hate her so,
She's too pretty, so to them she has to go.
They talk and make up lies about her,
Then say that she said those things,
She doesn't know if she can still stand the pressure,
She just wants to fly away on golden wings.
She can't help what she looks like,
She can't help being who she is,
But deep inside she only wants to be like everyone else is.
So tell me if you see,
as you walk the halls today,
A girl who most girls don't like,
and feels bad in every way.
You're the one who laughs at her,
Because you think you're too cool,
So next time you laugh at her,
Just remember this poem,
She's a human being too,
and when she cried she cries alone.
So now as you read this,
I hope it made a good impression,
as you read about her depression,
You now know her confession.
